COLLECTION
In this collection, the word becomes matter, where the verb leaves the page to inhabit surfaces, bodies, and spaces. Palimpsests accumulate layers of writing like skin accumulates scars; mouths pronounce without sound; masks conceal in order to reveal. Each piece explores the borderland between what is said and what is left unsaid, between the act of speaking and the silence that precedes it.
The series invokes the body as an instrument of language: tongues, noses, eyelashes, and faces become landscapes where communication is simultaneously possibility and impossibility. By the grace of the word, matter speaks.
